Southern Regional Medical Center is pleased to announce that Todd Griffin, Director of Plant Operations, has been named a recipient of the 2023 PRC Healthcare Leadership Award. The Excellence in Healthcare Awards recognize organizations and individuals who achieve excellence throughout the year by improving patient experiences, healthcare employee engagement, and/or physician alignment and engagement based on surveys of their patients and employees.

Griffin was honored for exhibiting excellence in patient care by ensuring that the plant and facilities, security and environmental services operate at the highest level of quality. He is noted as a patient advocate who regularly rounds on patient rooms and leads patient safety and experience opportunities. With over 25 years of experience at Southern Regional, Griffin upholds a strong commitment to his hospital and the community it serves.
