Since Southern Regional Medical Center opened to patients in 1971, we have remained a not-for-profit hospital dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our communities by blending a passion for healing with advanced medical technology to deliver the best possible care to patients.
Our Foundation’s mission is to deliver compassionate, quality care to patients and improve lives in our local community, regardless of someone’s ability to pay. Our ability to continually provide care to the uninsured and underserved is possible because of the generosity of our donors, volunteers, and staff who selflessly support our mission.
And to continue to provide a healthcare safety net and close the health disparity gap for our patients we need your support. The generosity of our local businesses and community members allows us to fulfill our mission and provide the care our community needs. The Southern Regional Medical Center Foundation is an extension of the Prime Healthcare Foundation, a 501(c)3 public charity. Donations to our Foundation remain local serving our patients and their families. We are grateful for the opportunity to improve health outcomes and enrich lives right here in our local community.
