Specialized Emergent Care for our Expecting Patients

The Women’s & Infants Pavilion’s OB–Emergency Department is specifically dedicated to emergent care for our expecting mothers. Our OB–ED provides high-quality care for patients at every stage of their pregnancy who present at our hospital with an obstetrical complaint. Board-certified obstetricians, advanced practice providers (NPs, PAs) and certified labor and delivery nurses who are specially trained in treating high-risk pregnancies, provide evaluations, assessments, and medical screening exams for pregnant women in need of immediate care. Our OB-ED helps to ensure that expectant mothers receive timely, specialized care if they are facing an obstetrical emergency.

Our OB-ED not only provides emergency care access for maternity patients in our community, but also offers added reassurance for expectant mothers who may be coping with chronic health concerns. We understand that health conditions such as diabetes, obesity, or hypertension can lead to complications and premature births. Our OB-ED responds to these healthcare concerns and gives you access to emergency OB treatment in a setting that is dedicated to your special obstetrical needs
