Residency Rotations
Southern Regional Medical Center’s Internal Residency Program runs on the 4+1 schedule model to ensure resident well-being.
Residents typically complete 4 weeks of an inpatient rotation followed by 1 week of ambulatory medicine in the GME clinic. During the inpatient rotations, residents do not attend continuity clinics, allowing residents to focus on the patients who require their attention.
