Insightful Seniors: “Eat This Not That”

Southern Regional offers Insightful Seniors — a series of free senior education programs — throughout the senior centers in our communities. “Eat This Not That” will be presented by our Director of Food and Nutrition Services at the Heritage Senior Activity Center in McDonough. All local seniors are invited to attend.

Malnutrition in older adults is often underdiagnosed and can lead to other health issues, such as a weakened immune system and muscle weakness. Nutritious eating – as simple as increasing fruits and vegetables in your diet and decreasing saturated fat and salt – can help. Learn how to develop a balanced meal plan that will keep you on the path to good health.
