ATLANTA- Southern Regional Medical Center is excited to announce the appointment of Daniel P. Shearn, MSN, RN, as the Chief Nursing Officer.
Daniel’s main focus in this role will be on recruitment and retention, commitment to the community and employees, and ensuring the safest and highest quality patient care.
Additionally, Daniel will work on strengthening relationships with nursing schools to enhance nursing education and provide opportunities for graduating nurses.
Daniel received his graduate (eliminate undergraduate) degree in nursing from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Most recently, he served as the Chief Nursing Officer at Crozer Chester Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and has also held senior leadership positions at St. Joseph’s Carondelet Hospital in Tucson, Arizona, North Okaloosa Medica Center in Crestview, Florida, and UPMC Northwest in Seneca, Pennsylvania.
Daniel’s leadership has always been dedicated to providing excellent patient care, improving the patient experience, and fostering employee engagement and satisfaction.
