Southern Regional Medical Center announces that Michael Davis, MBA, CPA, has joined its leadership team as Chief Financial Officer. Mike brings more than 20 years of experience at every level of financial management and provides a unique perspective to finance and hospital operations from his past experience as a Respiratory Therapist.

Prior to joining Southern Regional Medical Center, Mike spent three years as the Chief Financial Officer at Knapp Medical Center, Weslaco, TX, a 227-bed hospital Prime Healthcare facility. In this role at Knapp, he implemented financial operations initiatives and improvements that increased hospital profitability. Prior to joining Knapp Medical Center, Mike was the Chief Financial Officer at Texas Regional Medical Center at Sunnyvale, TX and served as the Assistant Chief Financial Officer at Houston Northwest Medical Center, TX. Additionally, he served as the Financial Controller at West Boca Medical Center, FL.
Mike earned his Master of Business with emphasis in Healthcare Management from the University of Phoenix and is licensed as a Certified Public Accountant. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Finance from Florida Atlanta University, FL.
