With the MDsave partnership, Southern Regional Medical Center is now offering bariatric patients who may not have insurance or have high deductibles or co-pays the option to pay for their medical services upfront through the program’s online healthcare marketplace. Through MDSave, Southern Regional’s patients have access to CareCredit, a financing option to help pay high out-of-pocket healthcare expenses. MDsave offerings at Southern Regional also include imaging and laboratory services.
Southern Regional’s Center for Healthy Weight specializes in assisting patients at every step of their weight-loss journey. The Center offers a range of weight-loss options to ensure every patient’s individualized needs are met. Each option is based on personal factors, such as overall health, Body Mass Index (calculated from height and weight), and other health or medical conditions. Patients can view the online seminar led by Karleena Tuggle, MD, board-certified Bariatric Surgeon and Medical Director for the Center.
