Southern Regional Health System offers the best technology at both our hospital and our Spivey Station location.

We have a state-of-the-art digital imaging center at Southern Regional hospital in Riverdale, as well as two new digital imaging centers at Spivey Station, our newest outpatient center in Jonesboro.

Southern Regional is committed to bringing the latest technologies to our patients. But it’s also important to know that our team is constantly keeping up to date on new techniques and procedures that become possible with existing imaging technology as medicine continues to evolve.

Latest Advances

Our 64-slice CT scanner is just one example of how we offer the latest, state-of-the-art technology. This scanner offers very precise, 3D images, and is especially effective at detecting blockages in coronary arteries.

We also offer the latest in breast ultrasound, including using computer-aided detection. In addition, we have top-quality technology to perform digital mammograms at both the hospital and Spivey Station.

In addition, we offer five state-of-the-art nuclear medicine cameras.
