Bashar Alramahi, MD, Colorectal and General Surgery, has joined the Surgical Practice at Southern Regional Physician Management Group, LLC. He specializes in minimally invasive and robotic surgery options where his patients reap the benefit of reduced recovery times with less post operative pain and a quicker return to their normal lifestyle.
Dr. Bashar Alramahi earned his medical degree from the University of Jordan in Amman, Jordan. Dr. Alramahi completed a Fellowship in Colorectal Surgery at the University of Texas Health and Science in Houston, TX. He completed General Surgery Residency’s at University of Texas Health and Science in Houston and in San Antonio, TX; as well as at Ibn Al-Haitham Hospital in Amman, Jordan. He was a transitional resident in General and Oncologic Surgery at the King Hussein Cancer Center in Amman, Jordan, and completed and Internship at the Ministry of Health, Prince Hussein Hospital in Amman, Jordan. He is board certified in General Surgery with the American Board of General Surgery and board-eligible in Colorectal Surgery.
His philosophy is to always be available when his patients need him and to provide patient-centered individualized care that meets the lifestyle and special needs of every patient. He offers a variety of surgical problems through minimally invasive and robotic surgery, including but not limited to: Benign Anorectal Disease (hemorrhoids, anal fissure, anal fistula); Colon Cancer; Colon Infections (diverticulitis, appendicitis); Emergent abdominal issues; Endoscopy; Gallbladder Disease; Genetic Colon Disorders; Hernias; and Inflammatory Bowel Disease (Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis).
Dr. Alramahi is seeing patients in two office locations: The Surgery Clinic at Spivey Station, 7823 Spivey Station, Suite 205, Jonesboro, GA; and The Surgical Suites, 11 Upper Riverdale Road, SW, The Women’s Center Terrace Level, Riverdale, GA. Both facilities offer free accessible parking.
