Patient Room Telephone Numbers

Each of the comfortable patient rooms at Southern Regional includes a telephone with a phone number which can be dialed directly from outside the hospital. Family and friends may telephone a patient's room by dialing (770) 909-2 + the last three digits of the patient's room number.  For example, if a patient you are trying to reach is in room 234, you should dial (770) 909-2234. Because our patients need rest, calls will NOT ring to a patient's room between the hours of 9:30 p.m. and 7:00 a.m.

Smoking Policy

Southern Regional Medical Center is proud to be a smoke-free hospital. Smoking is not permitted in any area inside the hospital by patients, staff, visitors, medical personnel, or other persons. Visitors may smoke on the patio behind the cafeteria or in the gazebo located at the front of the hospital.

Wireless Internet Access

Southern Regional Medical Center and Spivey Station are pleased to offer wireless Internet access free of charge to visitors, patients and visiting physicians. This access is available throughout the facility, even in patient rooms. If your laptop has wireless Internet capabilities, you should be ready to go! Older laptops may require a wireless access card (available at any computer store) which gets plugged into a slot on the side of the laptop. Most new models will include built-in wireless capability.

Due to the limited amount of technical resources available, we are unable to troubleshoot any wireless, software or hardware issues. Please contact your hardware or software vendor for assistance. Also, please note that this service is offered as a courtesy and is provided on a "best effort" basis with no guarantees of availability or security.

Meal / Food Options

Magnolia Cafe (on-site cafeteria)

Visitors may purchase meals at the Magnolia Cafe, our on campus cateferia located on the ground floor of the main hospital behind the "A" elevators. Mealtimes offer a wide variety of inviting food choices including a hot food line, specialty of the day bar, a grill (open weekdays only), a salad bar, a dessert bar, and an assortment of beverages. The hours of operation are:

Breakfast
6:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.

Lunch
11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Dinner
5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Chick-Fil-A

We also have a Chick-Fil-A kiosk located in the Women's Life Center Atrium, offering signature Chick-Fil-A sandwiches, salads, wraps, sides and desserts.  Call ahead for your order at (770) 897-7999.  Debit & credit cards accepted.  The hours of operation are:

Monday - Friday
10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Vending Machines

If you need a snack there are vending machines located on the ground floor next to the cafeteria. Cold drink machines are located on each of the floors of the hospital.

If you prefer to leave the hospital for meals, there are a variety of restaurants located nearby on Georgia Hwy. 85 (turn right out of the hospital and go to the 5th light) and Tara Blvd. (turn left out of the hospital, then right at the 3rd light). Automatic Teller Machine

An automatic teller machine (ATM) is available 24 hours a day in the main lobby for cash withdrawals and cash transfers. Depending on your bank, you might be assessed a service charge for using this teller machine. It is not equipped to accept deposits or payments.
